Cure for septic arthritis
Date : 31 May 2005

Question:
My husband was diagnosed of this disease and his left knee was operated last
April 2005.After a week of rest, he went back to his work but unluckily he was
burdened by the pain in his left knee again, he couldn't move an inch because of
too much pain. He was advised to put hot compress to relieve the pain. The hot
compress helped but the pain was still there. Upto to this date he is still
suffering with the pain in his knee and he can't totally bend his left knee. He
took a lot of medicines to relieve him of pain. How can I help my husband with
his agony. By the way he had a very high uric acid when he was first diagnosed
but as of this time his uric acid is within normal limits.

Answer: (14 Jul 2005)

Dear Edith, I am so sorry to hear about the agonizing pain that your husband
is experiencing post surgery on the left knee. Septic arthritis is an infection
in a joint. Many different types of bacteria can cause septic arthritis. But,
